I'm disgusted to hear about all the new problems with the 600's and the cr---py mileage! I drove GM's for the last 30 years because they were in my family, and my relative's dealership. I could not stand the things they would not correct over the years!! My brother got into the CTD's in '97 and is on his third. The first thing he told me when I went to the HO- '03 (his latest is the SO- '03) was - lookout for the new changes. I thought I was getting into a great new truck. I finally get my crown and pinion changed next week at a different dealer. A brand new (8000+mile truck). I hope I'll feel a bit better next week, and have a new, decent place to deal with!!

 

Ted,Know what mean at 1500 miles dealer told me no noise found.11000 miles and guess what rear is full of metal!Now time for ring and pinion and bearings.Gotta love them cheap dealers.fix it now or fix later!
