runnin rough limp mode??

runnin rough limp mode??

my sig needs to be updated but got a new (to me) 06 it's bone stock except for a *****'s whistler and pyro and boost gauge. she started runnin rough on the way to work today and the cel came on. plugged in a buddys smarty and a p0107 (map sensor voltage to low) p0073 (air inlet temp voltage to high) and the mysterious p2149 (bank 2 cyl 4-6 shorted high or low) all came up. cleared all codes and restarted only the p2149 code reappeared. reset again and only a p0305 code present(cyl #5 misfire) again reset and restarted and only the p2149 was back.i drained the fuel bowl but made no difference. after a little searching i'm guessing a bad injector on #5 or a bad harness in the valve cover. shes been in under warrenty before my time for something related to #5 & 6 just cant remember what. i'll have to look when i get home. shes still under warrenty(57000) but i hate bringing it to the *********** for anything even when it's covered. any info and feedback will be greatly appreciated. gotta get her up and runnin and put back to work thanks

well after sitting all day yesterday it fired right up and drove home like normal last nite. looks like it might be a hit or miss problem.

it is either the injector wire harness or you have an injector trying to short out

I agree. mine acted up, then was fine for a month and finally let go. If you want to troubleshoot for yourself, pull the valve cover, disconnect each injector and check resistance. They should all be around 0.5 ohms. Sounds like #5 will be higher. Also, check continuity from the wire terminal to the pin in the plug receptacle.
