Rotell-aroma

Just used Rotella for the 1st time; sure is stinky, but I like it!

I think it complements the #2's smell very well...

Does anyone else enjoy sniffing unleaded? 'Cause that's still my favorite

I am enjoying the rosmella I just put in this past weekend. Had amsoil in, which has a smell to it as well but not as bad as rotella. My buddies are always asking me how much oil I spilled on the motor, because none of their trucks (PSD) smell like mine. The exhaust on my truck stinks, str8 pipe. My favorite smell is VP C-12 ras gas with a mixture of klotz running through a 2-stroke dirtbike on a saturday morning.

My 5000 mile interval is coming up (50,000 on the truck) this weekend so I will be putting in a new batch of RoSMELLa in mine too!

I don't mind the smell and it goes away in a couple hundred miles anyway.

I have only done one oil change so far and put the Rotella in and did not notice any smell either. I will be changing again in about 1000 miles so I will pay closer attention and see if I smell it this time.

I have used it in all my diesels for years and I never noticed the smell either plus I never have had a oil related failure with it . With five diesels around the farm I don't see any reason to change at the present time .

It took about 800 kilometers for the smell to stop on mine.

I notice it the first 300 miles or so, then it goes away. I kind of like the smell.

Glad to see someone else changing the oil at 15,000 miles - makes me feel less guilty!

Favorite gas engine smell: Valvoline racing 50w in a 13:1 compression and up V-8 with open element PCV breathers running Sunoco purple at idle. (With the faint whisp of dragstrip nachos in the background somewhere. )

Favorite Deisel smell: My old boss's 97 12v with a shifted plate, bigger gov springs, and a couple of degrees of timing, running at idle after a fresh change of Rotella. It is addictive!

I always use Rotella in my truck. I am around Tractor trailers at work all the time. I was talking to a guy standing next to his ideling Kenworth the other day and it smelled familiar.

Me: "Just have you oil changed?"
Him: "Yep"
Me: "Rotella?"
Him: "LOL yep, I would never use anything else."
