Reverse Lights.
Ok so here's the deal. When I press brake the reverse lights come on. When I turn my left turn signal everything works great. When I turn my right turn signal my turn signal blinks and so does both reverse lights.
Hopefully it's there, cause that's the easy fix.
OK - try this...
Remove the bulb for the right rear brake lights.
Now apply the brakes and see if the reverse lights go on.
If they do then it would appear there is a short in the wiring.
If they do NOT come on then it looks like the ground to the right rear light assembly is broken.

Ladies and gentleman thank you for all of your help. I fixed the problem. The wire rubbed against the metal were it goes into the light. Why oh why wouldn't they protect that area with either a big rubber grommet or foam or even sheathing on the wires. Thanks again.

LOL... aint electrical fun?
Usually a problem like this is caused by a faulty ground. Instead of the circuit grounding, the current flow "back-feeds" through the harness to another spot, in this case your reverse lights...
Id look at the frayed harness again and see if you got it all, and then check the ground to that leg of the wiring harness.
as suggested, also check for corrosion on the bulb sockets, that can cause this as well.

Well I couldn't wait until tomorrow. I took both lights apart and checked all bulbs for corrosion and checked all wires for frays. Nothing seems out of the usual. So...... now what? I think I will double check my 7 way connector in the bed.
try a quick test, remove the plug&play harness and see if that corrects things.
Check your ground at the trailer plug itself as well.
I've seen a lot of this type of problem caused by trailer connectors or their wiring. Your idea to check your new 7 pin in the bed is a good one. A wire can come loose and touch another inside the connector pretty easily. If you have another 7 pin under the back bumper, give it a check too. They like to scoop up slush and mud off the road and can end up with a short from one circuit to another.

These help? I'd highly recommend downloading the repair manual so you can have a better look at the wiring diagrams. You can find the link sourcing it for free.

G106 - Trailer tow ground
G104 - Back up switch ground (I think I've got these labeled right)
