Replacement U-Joint

Replacement U-Joint

Has anyone had to replace a u-Joint on there 2007 2500 yet. Where do I go to get a replacement. Everywhere I have went does not have them in stock because it is to new.

some people have presicion u joints. does anyone know the measurment of the u joint. I have to choices

Both are steel greasable
both have an overall width of 4.187

one has a point to point length of 1.375 on both axis
the other one is 1.188

does anyone know if these are correct

Obviouslly at least one of those is wrong.
You might try a heavy truck parts store.
Of course you could try a friendly dealer also. Might cost a little more and be right.

I used the summit racing website for a u joint cross referance and it says that is a very common part.

Says that the 351 is for mega cab or manual tranny
and the 330 is for auto and quad cab.
Basically wheather or not it has a carrier bearing and a 2 section driveline.

it is also a greasable part
