removing starter

Do I need any special socket or swivel or some other tool to remove the top starter bolts? I looked at it the other day and can't figure out how to get the bolts out. Thanks.

10mm 12 point socket will work, I use 10mm racheting wrench. These bolts are sometimes a bear to break loose. Take the lower bolts out first, once broken loose they will come out by hand. The top bolt you may have to hold up on starter as you remove. Take the ground wire off on both batteries first so you don't have any shorts if you touch ground with wrench when removing battery connection on starter.
