reflash results

had my truck flashed last week ,overhead imediately read 3mpg better . I completely topped off the tank to where it ran out on thr ground and wouldnt take anymore. drove it 250 miles round trip and filled again at the same station and even at the same pump untill it wouldnt take another drop. over I got the same exact mileage as before. only thing the flash changed was that it screwed up my overhead reading was a total waste of time. I think everyones mileage varies because everyones driving technic is different

In your sig it says that you completely ported your intake pipe. Now I heard that the white fins that are in the turns need to be left. They supposedly help the air turn the 90* bend easier.

Did you remove these as well???

I agree with you on this one. The reflash did nothing for me at all. I just keep driving it and hoping someday it will get 30 mpg.

nope ,didnt remove the white plastic stuff, just took the plastic tube center portion and removed the cross pieces in the center and then also removed all the silencer rings from the tube itself . now its just like a big piece of pvc pipe except it still looks factory from the outside.

The overhead calculation is designed to correlate to hand calculations:

1. Only on the first shutoff. If you fill it until it comes out of the filler tube, it will never match.

2. You have to reset the overhead every time you fill up.
