I would also like to have some pricing info on Redline & Royal Purple products. Seems that Amsoil has better pricing (if you become a preferred customer).
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy the others at similar prices?

go to daymotorsports.com and check their prices. They are local for me so no shipping, but they are still cheaper that even summit and jegs.

Best pricing on internet that I've found and have used them twice with no problems.

Rossn2,
Are you running the 75/140 NS or the 80W/140?

Just called the dealer for kicks...$20.24 per quart for 75/140.I was prompted to do this after reading a recent post on the Valvoline oil ruining the rearend and dealer covering under warranty, must be an above average dealer!

I use Redline, and unless you are pulling real heavy just use the 75w90. It's what I use and after 15k (on the lube oil)I checked my pumpkins and had very little mud on the magnetics and the oil was very clean. So I am pushing on to maybe 45k.

I ran Redline MTL in the transmission.
In the frt&rear end I had Amsoil Series 2000 75w-90 from 7k-26.5k. Around the 26.5k miles mark I started to notice the rear end binding/chatter noise when starting from a stop and making a left turn. I dumped the rear fluid and changed to the Redline 75w-90 gear oil (the one with LS additive) and the noise went away. There was no abnormal wear on the gears, or metal shavings on metal plug from the Amsoil and it wasn't burned.

I sold the truck shortly after changing the rear fluid...I got tired of paying extra $$ for diesel fuel. I dropped back down to a 1500 series truck. Yeah, I'm going to get ripped on this site for selling, but oh well! Bad part about it was Chevy dealer gave me $2500 more for my truck than two Dodge Dealers. Go figure???

We tow heavy (see signature) and therefore run the Royal Purple 85W-140. In my particular limited slip, the friction modifier formulated into the RP product was sufficient - no supplemental friction modifier was required.

As far as availability, I can buy it at my local NAPA and O'Reilly's. The price might be somewhat higher, but it's much more convenient for me.
