I have one in the basement that a small piece of the ferramic lining chipped off and made a high spot that dragged the clutch constantly. It was a real pain to get into gear from neutral. I had a 1/4 inch wide blue streak on the flywheel and pressure plate from the piece flaking off and getting wedged in there. Pete will take care of you for sure. A good stand up guy, even if you caused the problem.

Another hard shifting NV here after switching to MTL.

I have never used anything else in a Manual tranny besides Redline and I must say I WILL NOT BE USING IT EVER AGAIN IN A MANUAL.

Mine will be getting changed this weekend. Too bad the MTL has only been in my tranny about 1k miles, OH WELL.

Just to add my last 2001 nv5600 installed ina 12v equipt ford had a little over 400k miles towing heavy with MTL redline in it since day 1 no problems at 400k miles i sold the truck the new owner did rebuild the tranny since the counter shaft bearing were starting to howl and the syncro on #3 was starting to grind some when below 0 degrees. my 2002 NV5600 had it in there and it help alot with cold weather shifting functioned well to 200k when i sold the truck. my 03 has stock fluid and smooth shifting from 1000-25000 then one day it got a little notchy for 10k miles you couldnt get it in gear at a stop light then from 35k-42k no problems again. changed to MTL at 42k shifting got really hard from 41.5k to 46k then loosened up, i can now say the tranny shifts smoother, is not notchy at all going into 3rd gear and down shifts are smoother than it was for the first 42k miles and the off and on 1st gear hard shifts from a dead stop at 25k-35ki think maybe related to a input bearing getting gummed up from lack of use the first few years, but the problem also went away after a long hard pull up doner summit, maybe the heat did her some good. im at 60k miles now and wont be changing back to stock fluid.

with 3 vehicles and close to 600k miles and none of the 3 tranny's blowing up i stick to what has worked for me.

Also i change fluid every 20k miles on the button always have always will.

let me know what your fluid looks like when you pull it. mine had about 2500-3000 miles on it and it came out blacker then any engine oil i have ever seen. not impressed at all with this product, especailly for the price
