My truck has a rear rattle when ever I take my foot off the gas, go down a hill or downshift. I believe it is the drive shaft because I can wiggle it about 1/8 inch. I have only put 4000km on it since i bought it used from a dealer and only about 500km of that was towing anything heavy. Don't you think the dealer should of found it and fixed it when they were certifying it. How much is a new bearings going to cost.

thhis may sound wierd but do you have any running boards on it????????


if so tighten all the bolts and see if thats it. mine was making wierd rattlingg noises from the back and omeone said chheck those and it quit....not saying thats your problem but its worth a shot
