Well I am almost there...to the seal. I am trying to get the rear plate off and there is a 10mm nut that holds the wiring harness above the starter. I have removed the nut, the starter and all bolds, however it is still attached to this stud. There is a 15 mm on the other side (facing front) but it does not want to turn. I have included a picture.

#2 My 48re is leaking at the electrical connection. Anyone every replace this connection?

 

Figured this dumb one out. must remove the cooler line bracket and there is a bolt. This is a double threaded stud.
