Rear Diff fluid?
Rear Diff fluid?
Do the 06's come with synthetic fluid in the rear diff??
Also my truck has 3700 miles on it and the paint on my rear diff is already pealing off, is it supposed to do this so early. Thanks for any info...

Yes, they do come with synthetic fluid in the axles.
Did you check the fluid level? It's been an issue with these axles leaving the factory low on fluid and it's up to the dealer to check the levels during prep.
Required a quart of 75w-90 to bring the level up to the fill/check hole for my truck.
Paint pealing on the cover is normal. I repainted mine once before replacing with a PML cover.

Thanks for the reply, I will check mine today just for peace of mind. I just traded in a titan for the CTD and nissan was having the same problem with low diff fluid from the factory thus they were having rearends going out, plus they were only putting regular gear oil in them. Just didn't want the same thing to happen to this truck. Thanks again!
