Rear diff 10.5 or 11.5?

Hey guys and gals my truck is a 06 Quad Cab 2500 48re 4wd manual tcase
so I don't know if my diff is a 10.5 or a 11.5.

I checked the glovebox, I don't have the sticker with the info and I checked the rear end and found no info either.
Any other way to check what the rear diff is?

I want to buy a hellwig sway bar and there are 2 different part numbers for it:
7651 for the 10.5 and 7658 for the 11.5

Thanks in advance.

Where are you getting the 11.5 info? My 05 QC was 11.5 but the info on my new 06 build sheet states 10.5. I have seen a couple of other posts in the past that also said 11.5 but all of my documentation contradicts that.

I thought 3/4 ton Cummins equipped Rams with an automatic had 10.5's as well. Seems like I have read before on this, don't quote me though, my memory is fading in my older age...

The DC web site is wrong. All CTD's get 11.5 AAM.

Only the 2003 2500 standard output (or CA model) CTD with the 47re had the 10.5".

Just measure it. you dont need to take the diff cover off. Whoever says Cummins don't come with 10.5" is just wrong, sorry. Mine had one.

Sorry, third gens didn't come with 10.5 unless they are as MikeyB described above and then after those, the 04.5 and up all came with 11.5. You have an 01.5.

You know Dodge will just put in whatever they have lying around. They put 10.5" on the website so nobody can say *** website says 11.5" and I got a 10.5". Chances are it is an 11.5" but there is no guarantee.

My 01.5 has a Dana 80. My 3rd gen had a 10.5"

I believe it is 10.5 for 2500
11.5 for 3500

I have the 10.5 2500 and don't really care. Only real need for 11.5 in SW is if you wanted to lower gears and still have a stout ring and pinions. I'll load the the 10.5 to the hilt and the tires will probably pop before the rear goes. DW is another story. DW with good truck tire can hold a lot more payload.

I'll get a pic of my glove box sticker in minute. I have a 11.5 and a 2500. It's standard equipment for anything with a CTD unless you have an SO.
