Radiator took a dump....
Well ....as we were getting ready to take a trip up to our property in Gainesville , I notice I`m missing one of the caps on the trailer , (loaded up with our Trans Mule , daughters new 4 wheeler , and all our gear
) so I move the truck out of the way , as it`s already hooked up and ready to go , and notice a HUGE puddle of fluid where the truck was just sitting
Needless to say , it`s the radiator , and no one is open on Christmas day
,or today, so I guess we`re staying home this weekend
Just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the cooling system , or is this truck just bad luck for me
We were planning on leaving after Christams dinner @ my moms (around7PM) , and it`s a good 3 hr. trip , so I guess I`m LUCKY I moved the truck when I did , and noticed the leak BEFORE we hit the road at night
as this would have been the 3RD time we would have been broke down in this truck , either on our way to , coming home from , or at Gainesville...and man , would the wife had been pis
sed....she`s already no TOO happy.

The header line in your thread says its the rad , but then nothing in your description tells where the leak is from .
If your lucky , maybe the overflow tank was full , were you parked on a angle , tilt , hill - then coolant came out of overflow .
Use a pressure tester and see where the coolant is coming out .
Is the rad cap on tight ?
Any work on the truck recently , maybe a lose hose clamp ?
