Question Question on winter front

I bought the winter front from cabelas. I didnt want to put it on the outside of my grill (I dont like the look of it) so I fastened it to the radiator frame so it sits against the radiator. Then I shut the hood over it. It looks good in there. Is this going to cause any problems? I hear of people putting card board in there just wondering? thanks in advance.

I have the Mopar winter front on mine - it is made of heavy vinyl with a felt lining on the side that goes against the radiator, and it is made to fit very snug against the radiator. Is the Cabela's made of similar material? Mine works fine and doesn't cause any trouble (at least so far) - sure helps the engine get to full operating temp on cold days, which I hope will avoid problems with carbon or injectors fouling.

No it will not cause you any problems. I've used mine the way you have yours for 2 winters now. In fact I use the bug screen in the warmer months inside and no problems with that either.

can't beat the mopar one- five minutes to install and un-install. it has four flaps-so you can adjust for the amount of air flow deemed neccassary,
