question about TSBs and PCM flashes
i took my 06 in for service today and gave them a list of issues. on the list, i had:
- occasional white smoke during starting and accerlation
- tranny seems to hunt at times or shift irregularly
i told them that TSBs 18-003-06 and/or 18-05-06 might address the above problems. they found TSB 18-041-05 and said it addressed both of the above problems. the work performed said "flashed the PCM to the latest number".
i've heard that TSBs 18-003-06 and 18-05-06 are also "MPG" flashes. since i had the PCM flashed to the latest, does that mean i would also get the "MPG" update? i am wondering if TSBs are just "diagnosis" and they always give you the latest PCM flash, which covers all TSBs to date?
just hoping i got the "MPG" update today which was one of the things i wanted.
