Question about trans pulling

I have pulled many of trans before. Never pulled one from my truck. Just curious since I have intake and the box does move and I don't want my fan to hit my motor. How are you guys supporting the motor up while trans is out? Trans will be out for a couple days so need something. Was thinking maybe a 2x4 across top of frame rails under the oil pan? To much weight for a 2x4?

The motor shouldnt move all that much mine never did in my other truck i had the trans out for a month. If you want to help support it a 2x4 will be fine. Is the truck gonna be moved around alot?

Motor is pretty well balanced on the mounts. Without a trans on it sits level. Even with the trans bolted on it does not drop much. You should be fine without a support.
