It is a great towing turbo. You can tune the engine to a solid 400-450 hp and tow like a dream. Provided the tranny is set to hold it of course.

If you decide it is not enough turbo, it can be easily upgraded to the stage 3 3788r. Also, I don't know if you have a cam or not, but the Garretts respond very well to them. Even a mild towing cam will drop egts another 150-200* and spool is that much sooner and smoother.

 

Really, havnt done much in the research in the cam section...might have to look into it......I would like to get some help in the lugging zone when towing around 1500 rpm 50 to 65 mph range. you know that range where the converter is locked and boost just wont climb to cool things off.....
