So I just got this 05 Ram CTD auto 2 months ago. Been having probs since I got it not running right. I don't think it was cared for well...

So I was driving it home after a 200 mile trip and it broke down at the chick fil A right before my house. So it will start and idle fine, but when you put it in drive it smokes real bad and won't move/engage. Like the Torque Converter is locked up or something. Won't move in Neutral either, even on a hill. When you put in drive and mas the throttle, it does nothing, dead pedal. When throw it back in park and it revved up 2800 RPM by itself and slowly drops down to idle, like a slow chopping motion.

I believe this truck to have blow-by when I bought it? Has been running fine up till tonight with it not running right. I believe this to be a diff problem from the blow-by though..Had been driving it for almost 1500 miles now. Maybe a bad APPS?

Any thoughts or direction would be much appreciated. Really need to get it back on the road and I am not sure what is wrong on it or how to fix! Thx
