Power surge while in gear?!

Power surge while in gear?!
Need some help on this one fellas!! My 07 has started surging while i am stopped in gear? Like I am applying throttle? What in the world is going on? If i do give it any throttle (like I am going to power brake it), it doesnt do anything but smoke? Otherwise drives fine??
