Power steering resivoir

Power steering resivoir

Will the power steering fluid affect steering. Just checked its way overfull don't know why.

No, but power steering fluid will blow out pass the reservoir cap if no room for fluid expansion is left in reservoir. Could also build up enough pressure in the reservoir to blow out reservoir seal.

No but did you just buy the truck? No way it can "make" fluid. Sure you weren't reading the "cold" line when it was warm/hot?
