Power Steering Leak

Anyone else have leakage at the bottom of the PS pump area where the metal lines are? I noticed it the other day when I was re-routing the fuel / water hose...it's more of seepage where the line connects.

Friend just had his hydro-boost replaced for a leak (2003.5). It was leaking into the cab and trashed his carpet. He noticed it while installing his jake brake wire through the firewall.

Mine isn't leaking in the cab (hope that never happens) just near the radiator very close to the steering box.

Yes, I've had a similar problem as you. After a few trips to the dealer the replaced the steering box and all has been OK since. I have a feeling it was the upper seal but they just replaced the whole thing.

I was thinking the same as you Summit, I wonder if the line is loose and could be tightened but I can't really get a wrench on it, I am trying to avoid another visit to the Dealership if you know what I mean.

My PS pump leaked at bout 25k. Had it changed under warranty at the dealer and have not had any problems since. Also had the TSB done for the PS lines to reduce the 70 MPH vibe. Seems to work ok.
