power steering bracket

Is anyone else having a problem with the power steering pump bracket cracking? I had this problem last year, and tonight when I was parking the truck the front end dropped into a bit of a hole, it is raining tons here, and the serp belt came off causing me to loose powerr steering and brakes. It also puked power steering fluid which I assume meant that there was a lot of pressure. Anyway I checked under neath and it snapped the bolt off the power steering pump bracket and the bracket is cracked again. Truck has only 10000 K on it since it happened last time. This seems crazy. Is there aproblem with my truck or are there other out there having the same problem? Would upgrading it to 08 steering fix this?

Is anyone else having similar problems with this power steering pump bracket craking and causing the serp belt to come off? Any ideas or people that have experienced this out there? What did you do to fix the problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

Some pics so you know exactly what and where the damage is. Can or does anyone know what is going on? Last pic show the bolt that broke when this happened.

That looks like my stamped alternator bracket that had a recall back in '03. It had cracked much like that. It was replaced with a cast and much heavier bracket.
