Power Rating on 03
My buddy just bought an 03 with 38K miles on it. The build date on the door was April of 03. It has the 48re tranny in it. Any idea what the power rating is for this model? Thanks

If you look on the drivers side of the black valve cover-cover, you'll see a white sticker with the hp listed on it. If it's got a 48RE, then it would have to be an HO (305hp 555tq). The SO's had either 5 speed manual (like mine) or a 47RE.

SO's have the 48re after March 2003. Choices are 305hp, 250hp, or 235hp.
