PML diff temp sensor

What thread does the PML rear diff cover have for a temperature sensor?
I checked today, and it sure as heck isn't NPT... (like my sending unit! )

The PML doesn't have a predrilled hole for a temp sensor. There is a boss area to be drill and tapped for a sensor by the owner. It's that little flat area between the level check plug and the drain plug on the right hand side of the cover.

My PML has a fill plug on top, a drain plug on the bottom, and an accessory plug in the middle on the right, as you said... all three are the same thread - can't imagine why PML didn't at least make the center one NPT!

I'll have to pull the cover so I can drill & tap in the shop.

That plug in the middle is the level check plug.

So there should be another boss for a fourth hole... sounds good, then I won't have to jack with the existing one.

You can see it just below the level check plug.
