Pinion gear initial depth setting?

I am replacing the ring and pinion and all bearings in my 11.5. Does anyone know if the new AAM replacement gears will have a pinion depth setting scribed on them like most aftermarket gears do? Or will they just have + or - with a measurement inscribed that you add or subtract from the old original shim pack? I have set up quite a few aftermarket gears before but never the 11.5. I tried to call AAM but they told me the tech guy there just quit and they don't have anyone to answer my questions. I was just trying to save some time by measuring and setting the pinion depth correctly the first time rather than trial and error by using the old shim pack.

Thanks
Dave

All AAM Ring & pinions are at 0 variance so just go with the old shim. If using aftermarket gears I wouldn't know.

Thanks. That's what I wanted to know. I had heard from time to time you could run in to some that were + or - varience. I will be using AAM gears.
