pile of junk is broke down again.

4 p0191 codes in 2 days and stalling under acceleration and fuel pressure drops to 3 to 5k every few minutes and then jumps up to 15 to 17k. I stopped and changed fuel filter and it made no differance. Filter was clean anyway. Rt befored i hit my driveway it would hardle run and pull the hill to the house. Does this sound like a Lift pump? please help........work is piling up and my truck is broke down.

P0191 code is in reference to your RAIL PRESSURE, could be the RP relief valve (I think that's what it's called). I had that code several times when my truck was new, the dealership replaced the valve.

After those few times I had the code, I installed the DiPricol rail pressure gauge. I also carry a 'bolt' to plug it off just in case I have problems out in the middle of nowhere and it stay's 'relieved' and no fuel pressure or a minimum of pressure.

I would reccomend pulling the bed if you have 3 friends to help... 3 bolts on either side (4 if it's a long bed), 2 wire connectors, and one gound wire. I have dropped the tank and pulled the bed, pulling the bed was much easier.

Sounds to me to be FCA or RP sensor related w/ the RP jumping around like that.

Bad Fuel rail pressure sensor.
Using the scan tool, monitor the actual fuel pressure reading while the key is on and engine is not running. Is the actual fuel pressure reading greater than 870 psi? If it is replace the sensor.

i did airdog it....kinda wish i would have went factory. installed airdog and now its running fine but ad 150 seems to be getting air or something. makes a constiant noise and then a louder noise ever few seconds, sounds like its leaking air some somewhere. all the hoses r tight and i added clamps on the fittings and stll no help. i think the rings in the fitting are leaking. its just opnion but i think they should have made these with a solid fitting not swivel.

Pull the filters and throw some lube on them (oil) and then tighten them back down, see what that does.
