part number help, lookup ?

wondering if any of the techs on here can do me a favor, a while back I had all 6 injectors replaced and recently discovered after swapping out the tips that the ones they gave me were for a 305/ 555 motor, which I do not have, mine has the 325 sticker and the engine number is for in bfact, a 325 h0p, 600 motor. the part numbers listed on my service sheet is as follows: R8004082AA . Is that an injector for a 325, or a 305 hp motor? I am curious as heck because I sure hope the wrong tips for the two months of use I had them in could have done any damage with the different spray angles / pattern. thanks for any and all help.

wow, , the dealer made a bit of a huge mistake ya think ?

EDIT: well now I am slightly freaked out, are the bodies on the injectors identical from one to the other or NO ?

Were those in your truck when you dyno'd at Spring Fling?

I'm not surprised a dealer tech would make that mistake. Why does Dodge always have to change things mid-year? Imagine taking your 07 5.9 in for a turbo and they throw one of the VGT units on there and then wonder what's wrong.......

yes the bodies were in my truck with flux 2 nozzles, I am surprised as well but I have the printout from the work they performed, its not even close to the correct part number, they are no wheres near even similar..... but as for the mid year junk, yes, thats why we have vin numbers and engine serial numbers, to make looking up the correct parts, easier. deeper down in th back of my mind would be another question, did they put the wrong valve cover on my truck, and I have 305 pistons in there ??????? never ends I tell ya, good thing the new trucks are so screwed up I'll never buy a new one.

But the good news is that with the correct parts on your truck you will almost surely make more power.....

What are you trying to say about the 305s???
