Paint Problems

I ordered an 03 1 ton dually with HO 48RE 4.10s and 4X4 on Feb 15. According the the DC build sheet it was shipped from the factory April 17. Still haven't seen it!!! I hear that there have been some paint problems with builds in the mid Feb-mid Mar area. It seems that a powerwasher can strip the paint right off. I'm not sure if mine is affected but sure makes you wonder if it's being held for repair. Has anyone else heard about this and can confirm if this is true? If so does anyone know if it's the whole truck or just a part (tailgate??) that has the pealing problem???

Re:Paint Problems

Sounds like not too many people have run into this. Luckily I have not as well. The problem ended around mid Mar. My truck was built April 15. Still haven't seen it though.

Sherod..did a search as you suggest but only got your post back!! What did I do wrong??
