Pacbrake for 2005 48RE

I have a Dodge CTD and it is the 2005 with the 48RE Auto Tranny. I see that Pacbrake has an exhaust brake for this vehicle. If anyone has had this installed could you answer a few questions for me.

1. Any problems or does the transmission need upgrades?

2. Since I have the latest ECM Flash will I still need Pacbrake part C18070 Trans Lock Up Kit?

I pull at the max and would like to have the Pacbrake (C44045) installed but worry that other than requiered ECM By-pass kit I might need more transmission work to install the exhaust brake.

Thank-you-in-advance for any information you can provide me.

I have had the PacBrake on my 04.5 2500 for almost two years and the only problem I had with it was a bad solenoid which was fixed under warranty. I did not install the brake myself, but the local shop who installed it also installed the ATS Triple Lok Commander as well. I believe this is now called the Co-Pilot. I have almost 78k on my stock brake components and can probably get a little more out of them. This has been the best mod I have done to the truck. If you tow heavy, this is a MUST HAVE.
