P0973 code low battery??
P0973 code low battery??
I have done an exhaustive search before posting this. My truck was connected to my fifth wheel (wiring) for 5 days parked next to my house. When I started it up yesterday, I noticed that it turned over slow because the batteries had apparently run a little low. This obviously happened because I left it hooked up causing the trailer to draw from the truck batteries.
As soon as it started, I noticed the C/E light. P0793 code, which deals with low voltage at the tranny, from what I understand. Within 10 minutes of driving, it went away and has not come back. Was it caused because of the low batt's or should I be concerned.
Also, if the check engine light goes away, does that mean the problem has vanished, or should I still be concerned? I took it in about 6 months ago because I thought the tranny was shifting hard. They told me all was okay and tried to charge me the diagnostic fee. It seems to be running and shifting fine. I use it only for towing my 13k fiver. It has 31,000 miles on it.
Any ideas?
