P0336 wont go AWAY!!

I have a code that wont go away, P0336 the crank position sensor, I have replaced it with a cummins sensor. The issue still stayed, inspected the tone ring everything checks out...I clear the code and it comes back as soon as I start the truck. When starting the truck sometimes it will fire right up other times it just doesn't wanna start. While driving it bucks. Everything is intermittent.
Any ideas what I'm not looking at? I got to get this Fixed!!!!

Check the wiring up around the AC compressor. It's a known issue, but the one of the wires gets rubbed bare, and it throws the CKP signal for a loop. There it leads to faults which your experiencing.

I do not know about bully dog setup but I had to replace the wireing harness for my TST for this issue. If bully dog has a wireing harness that clips in between the sensor and the truck wireing could be the problem.

I have seen the crank gear spin on shaft. Doesn't take much to cause crank sensor code to set. You need to pull 4 bolts that hold balancer on then pull timing case cover you can then see the pin in the crankshaft and key slot in gear. It should line up with key slot in crankshaft gear if it doesn't the gear and pin needs to be replaced.
