Angry P0237 & Now Truck very Hard to Start

I really need your help guys. Last week, right after the first real snow of the year here, my truck starting having problems starting in the morning. I would have to let the grid heater cycle three or four times , pump the accellerator while cranking, and then the truck would start. The truck would run, no fast idle at all, no stalling...; but it would run very rich until it warmed up. The temps have risen lately, and the truck is still hard to start always now; unless it has only been a few hours since the last run in the truck. The truck's fuel mileag has also dropped to 8 - 10mpg city and highway. Any help is appreciated.

Check the clamps on all your intake hoses. I'm wondering if you have a boost leak.

I finally checked all connections to everything from evrywhere to everything....no loose clamps anywhere. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

You probably either have some sort of wiring problem (loose or bent pin in connectors) or the boost pressure sensor is bad.

That fault is actually for an open circuit. Not just low boost (even though that's what it says).

I've seen lots of boost leaks with no fault codes. Most of the time you can hear it (like letting the air out slowly in a balloon, very high pitched).

Does the truck have good power. If you have no boost, it will be a total slug. If you have power and its not making the balloon noise, its probably an electrical problem. The check engine light might even go off after awhile if the fault went inactive.

Check your grid heater relay wiring (next to battery). Three of the four nuts attaching the relay wires were loose on my 05. Check all the connections! Also, there is a fusable link from the battery to each grid heater relay. If either or both have blown you will have no grid heating --- really bad starting.

I have great power, so no problem there. Y=The check engine light has gone off and has not returned. I should get home early enough tomorow to check the wiring and fusable links for looseness or breaks. Thanks for the info.
