hello,
My truck wont stop throwing this code its the turbo over boost any sugestions on what to do? Dealer looked at it cant find anything
any help? Light comes on once a week

SYMPTOM
P0234-TURBO BOOST LIMIT EXCEEDED

WHEN MONITORED
While running.

SET CONDITION
The intake air pressure is above a calibrated value for a calibrated amount of time.

POSSIBLE CAUSES

• Other DTC's
• Wastegate stuck

what are you reading the codes with??

 

no chip or anything reading the codes withthe key trick this has happened alot light is on now. Dealer says waste gate is fine.

Clogged or collapsed CAT??

 

only have 66,000 miles on the truck no smoke or anything just does it when i get after it goin up a steep hill or something seems like it revs 3,200 on the tach i have a S&B intake on it but it does it with or with out the intake on it the muffler is also gone thanks
