Went out this morning started the truck. Let it idle for about a minute, put it in gear and pressed the accelerator pedal and nothing. Just idle. I shut it off, restarted and the same thing. Accelerator pedal does nothing. I noticed the check engine light. Pulled the codes and got, P2123 first then P2121. Throtle position faults. It did this once before only it went wide open throttle in town. Went from 20mph to 80mph in about a block, no stoping it, then all of a sudden went to idle, pedal unresponsive. Turned off the switch, restarted everything fine. Took it to the dealer and they found nothing. Thats been 2 years ago. Any ideas???

It has been fine for 2 years? Forget it! Keep an eye on the codes and there should be some indicators if the apps is headed south. Usually get some idle validation codes first.
