Ok Diesel Doctors.....

Ok.....about a month ago my truck threw DTC P2146 (Fuel Injector Group A Supply Voltage Circuit Open). I was in a parking lot and it ran rough for about 5 seconds and that was it. I cleared the code with my Superchips Flashpaq, which at that time was set on Performance Mode. After running perfect for 1 week, I started the truck early in the morning. It started and idled perfect, but died after about 5 seconds. It did this 3 times before I decided to drive the wifes car for the day. After sitting in the driveway for the day, I got home and it started right up. Idled and ran perfect. I programmed the truck back to STOCk and sold the programmer. Now, for the past couple weeks, when I start the truck in the morning it acts like it wants to die while idleing. It starts great and idles great for about 4-5 seconds, but then begins to die but quickly recovers itself and keeps idleing. It has died a few times, but I do get it restarted. Yesterday it gave a code after dying, P0341 (Camshaft Position Sensor Performance/Rationality). Below is a couple videos of it starting and chokin in the mornings. One thing to note......batteries are original and I have NO issues when starting and driving the truck after work when its warm!! Any ideas?!?! Could it be weak batteries and the truck tries to die when the grid heater cycles?!?

Couldn't tell ya where the cam sensor is, but if that's the only code you had show up, then it's obvious it's a bad sensor, wiring issue, or the ECM.

INJECTOR DTC’S PRESENT
OTHER DTC’S
CAMSHAFT SENSOR
(K44) SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
(F855) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT OPEN
(K916) RETURN CIRCUIT OPEN
(K44) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
(K44) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (F855) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT
(K44) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (K916) RETURN CIRCUIT
(K44) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORT TO VOLTAGE
ECM
INTERMITTENT CONDITION

If the batteries were that bad, you would be throwing other codes as well.

Sounds like an electric gremlin.. Check this out: https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...re-t81936.html

Found this very same problem on my truck that was causing the truck to randomly shut down while cruising down the highway. Ended up being a short.

Let me see what I can dig up.. The ac compressor is on the passenger side of the engine compartment at the bottom just behind the radiator.

This picture is from the bottom side looking up directly at the oil filter.

Especially if they are close to metal or any other means of grounding
