Oil Filters
Most of us tend to prefer the LF 16035 Stratopore filter from Fleetguard/Cummins Filtration. They're about $13 or so, and are a step up from the Mopar filter which is a rebadged Fleetgurad, but not their higher end Stratopore.
Geno's a is a good online source, but you can also get them at any local Cummins service center.

I run the Donaldson Endurance Synteq ELF 7349. This is a synthetic media filter. From a data sheet: Donaldson® Endurance™ filters are 98.7 percent efficient when faced with 15 micron contaminants, and they are 50 percent efficient when faced with seven micron contaminants. I have researched this product and feel that it is better at trapping more dirt, provides better filtration and extended life than the Fleetguard Stratapores that I used previously. Albeit, a very good choice as well.
Why, you ask? It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Since my first oil change, I've ran the Stratopore LF16035 and change oil at the recommended 7500 miles. Oil analysis at 7500 has ALWAYS come back saying that I can continue to run the oil. Soot and metals are always VERY low.

I have run Fleetgaurd since new except for the last change I did. I did not notice I was out of filters until I was about to change the oil and had to run to the dealer for a Mopar filter. I will be placing my usual order of 4 filters from Geno's again soon.
My extra 2cents is, DO NOT USE a Fram filter. Search here and you will see why.
