I have 25k two changes no addition of oil between changes. HTH

 

I dumped my first load of oil at 3500 and I needed to add 2 quarts before that time. I dumped the secound load at 7300 I needed to add about 1 quart between the changes. I dumped the third load at 14,750 and added no oil it was still full. I am guessing that the rings are fully seated now but will do one more oil change at 22,500 with Dyno oil before switching to Delvac Synthetic at 30K.

Keep an eye on you oil and drain your water seperator at each fill-up !

 

ttreibel that's exactly what happened to mine. At first it used about a quart of oil between changes. Not it uses almost none. I think a quart every 5k-7k is not excessive at all.

I have Amsoil in the garage ready to go in the moment I have time to do it. I have 16,200 or so miles now.
