How many quarts of oil does the 04 hold ???

 

My '03 holds 12. Fill up the filter and pour the rest into the engine.

 

Yes. The manual says that the crankcase holds 11, plus 1 for the filter. That a lot of oil! But I bought the life time oil change from my dealer, which will pay for itself in 65-70,000 miles. He's screwed because I'm keeping this thing forever. ;D

 

Thanks for the info guys my new truck should be here in about 2 weeks. It's sitting in the Union Picific rail yard in Larado,TX. Next stop should be Tulsa then it will go on a truck.

Actually, if you're going by canadian gallons, it is just shy of 2.5, 2.497 to be exact.
