offset balljoints?
my steering went to hell suddenly. Took it to the dealer who says that camber is out on the passenger side. Tried to blame it on my 1.5" leveling kit. after explaining to him that just isnt piossible, he talked to a mechanica and manager, who both agreed with me.
Anyhow, now they are willing to cover the costs for replacing my 07 BJ's (9000 miles) with offset BJ's. I guess there are some issues from factory??????Anyone else having this issue?

did some searching, and found this is a common issue. Still not sure how the dealer is trying to say a leveling kit affects camber, just not possible. i can understand toe, as the drag link changes angles a bit, but not camber. souds like its a lousy part from dodge. The guy hinted that the "tolerances" were very tight. Im sure this wasnt the first issue they had with something like this. Tried to screw me for 600 bucks.

I don't know how you drive your truck, but the AAM front axle housings are VERY easy to bend. One good symptom of a bent front housing is out of spec camber.
I believe that I have bent my housing just from hitting a railroad crossing too fast...
Just a thought. --Eric
