I need help identifying the synchros in my nv5600 transmission. I picked it up to rebuild it to convert my 2003 cummins ram from auto to manual. Was told it was a 2004 NV5600 it has the 1-3/8 input and the extra holes in the back of the main case for better oiling to the tail housing so I thought it was a late model not the early one but the synchros seem to be slightly different then the ones I ordered. The old ones have 3 of the 6 sections have slightly raised little castles and the other 3 are flat. The new synchros have all 6 sections that are flat. The corresponding gears they fit to have 3 valleyed areas for the castles to sit flat and the flat ones sit level too so all surfaces touch. With the new synchros three areas dont touch. Can anyone tell me what I have because there isn't anything I can find on the internet that pictures the old style synchros so I can compare what I have. Can anyone help
