No start

No start

I have 05 2500 5.9 Cummins and it won't start without starting fluid and it has codes
p2609
P0335
P0336
P0088
I just replaced the relays for grid heater.
Any help would be appreciated.

Be careful with the starting fluid unless you have disconnected your grid heater. If you don't, you engine may start if you are lucky, but if you aren't lucky, there may be a bright flash of light along with a loud noise along with parts of the intake side of your engine flying across the yard. Not fun. Disconnect your grid heater prior to using starting fluid.

Crank sensor can cause no start. It's an easy change. Check for damage to the sensor-Mine was damaged by god knows what-probably debris of some type.

If that doesn't help, check rail pressure---If low it's injector troubleshooting time. If you don't have a rail pressure guage you can clip a voltmeter into the signal wire-0.5V = 0 psi, 5V= 20000+psi

I got about 2.5V (IE: Definatly above the pressure threshold for firing the injectors) when cranking while I had a no start condition-turned out to be the crank sensor.
