No block heater??

Guys,
I had a couple of ??'s, since this cold snap. My truck has not let me down one time since the cold started, but she sure has been pretty unhappy with me though.
I bought my truck when I lived in North Georgia. The dealer located the truck in Panama City. They sent a flat bed down to get it and I couldn't be happier (3 yrs later). Given the trucks origin, it is quite obvious why I don't have a block heater.
How difficult is it to install a block heater and where do I get one? By the time I chased down all the parts and info, I probably won't need it, but there is always next year....
Like I said, I have had no problems so far, I have always used additives (PS - white bottle) and kept maint. up on the truck since new, but concerned how hard these cold starts have been on the truck lately.
Truck has to set outside and I live up on a high point, so the wind shows no mercy. Any thoughts???
Thanks

Your block heater is already installed. You just need a cord. Don't go to the dealer ($40) go to a Cummins shop ($15). It is located passenger side, just aft of the oil filter housing.

That's what I was hoping, but when I didn't see it printed out on the window sticker I was concerned. I'll try and locate it tomorrow at work where it might be a little warmer. Hope she starts one more morning for me.....
Thanks again for the info Geico!!!!

Geico266 is correct. My 04 didn't come with the cord either. I bought mine @ NAPA for about $25.

When you're searching for it, look for a black "coke bottle" looking cap on the passenger side not far from the oil filter. I found that its easier to install if you will remove the intake tube that connects the air filter box with the turbo. Gives you a lot more room to work.

It's sad that these 40,000 trucks don't come with a $12 cord. I went to kenworth and they had it sitting on the shelf.. Took me longer to zip tie it down than anything. Just unscrew the "coke Bottle" looking cap and screw it in... Took all of 10 minutes... 5 minutes to drink a beer!!!

Shane! You got it all wrong! Do I have to teach you young guys everything?
You get a 6 pack-o-brew, tell your wife or GF the job is gonna take 3-4 hours, get a chair out and take it easy for awhile. If it's too cold, take the truck over to a buddies heated garage. Throw a wrench around the shop and make a few noises so they don't get suspicious, then tell them what a rough job it was! OH! and for effect, put a few bandaides on!

10 min job!

Thanks guys for all the help, especially the picture. I called around today and the cheapest I found was $44.85 at the dealer. I even called a Cummins shop and they didn't even stock the plug. Guess it'll be $50 for me. Oh well, it's just money...I'll make more tomorrow
Thanks again for all the help!
