Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I finally found a third gen! I picked up a stock one owner 04.5 this evening with 23k miles on it. Ended up giving $17,400 for it. A little more than I wanted to spend but the truck is immaculate. I cannot believe how strong this thing runs stock! It'll blow the doors off my old first gen and I had it cranked up pretty good. This truck has never been worked...no hitch in the bed and it doesn't even look like the receiver has had a hitch in it either. Spray in bed liner, matching ARE camper shell, and even a chrome bug guard. I poked around the truck for half an hour and couldn't find a ding or scratch. Nicest truck I've ever owned!

One thing I noticed though is the truck is wanting to hang a little in the upper rpms. If I tach it up to around redline while running through the gears it doesn't want to drop down immediately. Is that normal? Sorry...I'm a common rail newbie.
