Hey guys
Well it is time to do a new trans in my truck. The dealer "rebuilt" it at 60K miles and with just exhaust and 35" tires i got it to slip at 63k miles so I did what any normal idiot would do.......... Bought a Smarty!!! I ran it on level 3 until about 90K miles but i got an itch and put it on level 9. i have 116K now and she is hurting. I'm thinking about the BD trans with triple disk torque converter with the BD flex plate and Billit input shaft. Does anyone have any comments on this set up? i plan on ordering it this week and hope to have it installed ASAP

if your not goin to put alot of performance parts on your truck, then why not go with a simple rebuild with hd parts i.e. bands, clutches, mayb a vavlebody upgrade. it would b alot cheaper on you.

Or depending on your location, you could look at Garmon's (He's based near ATL. This is the route I'm going...)
It will be more than enough for what I have now, and plenty to hold what my future HP/TQ plans are to come. I'm taking the advise of plenty that I have talked to here and elsewhere. Build beyond your "immediate" needs. Or, "One n' Done"!
