Hello, proud new owner of an 2004 2500 QC ctd. I don't know much about diesels, but I am trying to figure if I have the "600" ctd. I have looked all over the internet, to figure this out but can't. So I know some of you guys on here will be able to help me figure it out. thanks

 

on the drivers side of the valve cover. There is some info on the sticker. It will tell you the HP rating. if it says 305 then you have the 555.

IF it says 325 then you have the 610.

I dont think the 610 can out until the later part of the year

 

I have an 04.5. I believe the 04.5 started in January or February. My truck says Feb. and it's an 04.5.

First of all welcome to the sight, the "600" started being used in mid 04, and RamRod2006 hit it on the head with where to find out what engine you have.

 

Thanks guys just checked, it says 325. It was built 2/4/04, I gues it would be considered a 04.5. Thanks again for the help.
