Just wondering, Every time I change my oil in my 2003 Ram I always have that new oil stink for a couple of days. I can smell it bad when the truck is running and my window is open and or my blower motor is going. I know its comming from the crank vent but, is their anything I can do to deture the smell from the cab? Let me know if I'm the only one! Thanks!

Normal............... Rotella is the worst. Lasting 2-3 days is typical.

Rotella #1 stink
Delo #2 stink
Both are good oil just stinky. # 3 Delvac is not quite as stinky. These are the only oil I use. So I cant say about any of the others.

Ahhhh I see! Well, I suppose I'd rather smell it too and know it's fresh than know it's old! Thanks guys!

I run Valvoline Premium Blue and don't get any smell.
