New Gear Ratios

Was just wondering if anyone had heard when they were going to come out with some higher gear ratios for our rear ends? Have heard after the first of the year. This G56 with 3.73s is about to get old. I love everything else about the truck. Dodge just didn't think this one out very well.

Something in the 3.55 to 3.31 range.

how many hundred rpm's do you think they would drop going from 373's to 355 though @ 70 or 75mph???? i doubt it would be enough to consider paying the price for them though.....

323's :-)

For 3.73 gears at 70mph and dropping to 3.31 gears at 70mph I will drop +/- 255 RPM. For me all I have is the cost of gears basicly so it would be very much worth it. Plus I plan on keeping this truck for a VERY long time so the long term savings is much more than any initial cost.

Or you guys could put in a gear vendors unit and have the best of both worlds. I was thinking of waiting, but I tow to much. GV is awesome.

It's going to cost about $1,500.00 for a 4x4... Might not be worth it. I wish I had something besides 4.10's.

If I knew someone that wanted to swap their 4.10's for my 3.73's close in year and if a dually, I would swap my 3.73's. With the GV, I wouldnt mind 100 rpms more for towing.
