It was not lithia in So Cal.
I will go talk to them and see what is up.
I am more angry because I usually know better, and I am really detailed on my inspections, but some of these things I could not see without putting it on a jack. I did crawl under both nights I went to look at it and the oil all over the fuel tank and TC would have been seen, especially because I was looking at those seals in particular.
Oh well we will see.
*the button seems to go to the security, which is a dodge factory installed security system. But I cannot find the button in the manual.*
Thanks everyone,

Thanks everyone,
They are typically within a few MPG or so, either way. However if there is an aftermarket performance chip or programmer present, or aftermarket injectors on the truck, the MPG display will be a long way out, as yours seems to be. When any of these aftermarket performance parts are added, the injectors will be spraying a different amount of fuel, at a different pressure and different timing than what the ECM believes them to be spraying. Therefore it can't calculate accurate mileage.
As for the leak under the turbo, just tighten the screws for now. Mine was leaking and that has solved the problem for six months now. If it doesn't work you can order the new hose and clamps from cummins. It should stop the leak at least temporarily so you can address some of the other issues.
OK, some updates...
So far they have had the truck since Thursday,
-they hear the clunk when it turns right, they don't yet know what this is from, I think it is from the worn-out track link bushings.
-they see the leak in the front output shaft and warranty will fix it.
-they know the rubber hose is a problem, they tightened it more and added pressure to test it, good now.
-Ball joints at spindles, and tie rods, they say they are within spec and cannot get the warranty to cover them. (I will have my shop change those or me) --I will try some more to get these changed by them.
-they adjusted the shifter linkage.
-the button, they believe it is a valet button. They are looking into more info for me.
-The vibration that I feel when I drive has not been totally been figured out, but they have found that ONE OF THE U JOINTS WERE FROZEN on the rear drive shaft. I went in to the shop to get some stuff out of the truck, and now I see that he rear output shaft on the transfer case is leaking.
-the rotated the tires and balanced them to see if that is what the vibration is from
-aligned the steering.
More to come\.....

So I got:
* a new steering box, and a new upgraded tie rods and links.
* new u-joints in the rear drive shaft
* seals in the Front TC output shaft, I will have to see if I got a rear one too.
* tires aligned, balanced, and rotated
* lug nut key
* tightened hose clamps on leaking hose, I tightened it and had the leak stopped prior to bringing it in.
* shifting linkage adjusted.
They did not change the outer ball joints.
I will put 200+ mile on it tomorrow and will see how it goes.
I am very happy.
Thanks,
Joe
