New driveshaft

My 06 short base has a vibration from 65-75 mph. Finally I figured out it is the rear drive shaft. Where's the cheapest place to buy a factory shaft? While trying to fix it one teck took the balancer off the shaft. It didn't change anything but I think it needs to be on. The dealer wants around $700 for a factory unit. Anywhere I can buy one at a discount? Thanks

Do a search here for driveshaft. There are a few places where people have listed them in the $400 range. Not sure the names off hand but they are posted.

Thanks for the reply. I've found a few online in that range but I thought maybe someone could steer me towards the best one.

I got mine at Driveshaft Specialists in San Antonio. 5" aluminum with 3-ton Spicer 4180 u-joints. No more vibrations at all. Recommended.

I had a 65 mph vibe in my shortbed, it was caused by a seized ujoint. The rear one. She is smooth again.

thanks for the replies. The local dealer wasn't as high as I thought. $320 for a OEM. My old drive shaft had a damaged balancer. I took it out and drove it in four high - no vibration. I'm putting in the new shaft tomorrow so I hope that will fix it.
